I am Mariel, creator of Masa Madre Ceramics. My passion for clay began in my childhood in Venezuela, inspired by my grandmother, who was a ceramicist. During the many years I lived in the United States and London, I always maintained that special connection with ceramics. I took several wheel throwing and d sculpture courses and rented a studio where I continued my work with clay. At the beginning of 2022, I had the opportunity to establish my first
ceramics studio in Lanzarote. I specialise in creating tableware pieces on the potter's wheel. It is an honour to be present at your table and be part of your day to day.
